Research Abstract

本研究は，遺伝的多様性の程度とエピジェネティックな多様性の程度を，ゲノム網羅的取得するDNA配列とDNAメチル化変動領域からそれぞれ推定し，それら多様性が相互に補償し合うのかどうかを検証することを目的とする．自然集団のエピジェネティックな状態を直接分析し，種や集団の存続に重要な要素である遺伝的多様性と比較し，メダカの集団史に照らし合わせ，それら多様性の変動を示す領域がどのような意味を持ち，どのように進化してきたのか明らかにする．
