Research Abstract

作物の根系形質（根バイオマスとその機能群）の挙動は，生育・収量特性を決定付ける光合成に並ぶ基幹的生理生態情報であるが，そのアプローチの困難性から，営農管理に求められる解像度（根系全体を機能別かつ日単位）でのモニタリングには至っていない．そこで，応募者独自のセンシング技術と数理モデリングを駆使することで，世界初となる根系形質の高解像度データのモニタリングとその活用に関する3つの目標（研究の目的欄に記載）に取り組む．これらの目標1～3を3年間の計画で達成することで，作物生育の精密制御を志向したデータ駆動型精密農業の基盤体制を構築する．
