Description

In scrutinizing and interpreting narratives, the core goal is to enrich the imagination of the actions of the characters and the state of the scene. However, it goes without saying that in order to have a rich imagination of the scene, it is premised on having an accurate understanding of how people and things move and what is being done based on the narrative. However, even if the teacher judges that the situation is correctly read in class practice, in reality, the pupils may misread more than the teacher thinks. As an example, based on practical examples using the teaching materials “Omusubi Kororin”, “Mochi Mochi Tree” and “Yamanashi”, we clarify the places where children are likely to misread, correct the reading errors and make them read the scene accurately. This is a proposal on the way of expression activities for the purpose.
