Description
TUJI Koubun expended the welfare practice in Children's Self-Reliance Support Facilities. When he sought the true way as a Buddhist, not to dare to be a monk, he chose the way to live as a lay Buddhist. He met the child welfare field at the time of 27 years old, and he found his way after he discovered Care by couple in small units of Children's Self-Reliance Support Facilities. In later years TUJI's walks as a Buddhist and his walks as a welfare practitioner overlapped on the same line and he expanded his proprietary welfare practice based on the look to life by a deep understanding of Buddhism. In this paper I deal with his era of struggling. In this age TUJI has been in the struggle between a welfare practitioner and a Buddhist. But in spending his life without boundaries with children TUJI was looking at presence of life which underlies TUJI and the children. In this paper I am to consider the early days of welfare to"live together life itself"that TUJI deplayed later.
