Description
In this article, we focus on the virtual space of the Internet, in particular on the world of video games, and ask what kind of space it is. Is the space of online games accessible from all over the world globalized or localized? The video game world is generally considered a “level” space by virtue of being built by members with common interests and hobbies. However, as this space is also influenced by society and culture, it may be developing locally or becoming more fragmented. We will analyze these issues: what kind of space is the game space for the player? If there is an equal chance of game space being open to players, in what sense is this possible?
