Abstract

Knowledge management is an extension of Bench marking and best practice. Through the process of disclosing tacit knowledge, the sharing of each individual's knowledge and experience is promoted. By sharing experiences as explicit knowledge both inside and outside the group, we develop increasingly valuable knowledge which then becomes an invaluable asset for the company. The knowledge management society of Japan was established in Feb. 1998 in order to study the importance of using and creating valuable knowledge in society.
