The support system for homeless people is now shifting its focus from transitional housing and related services, to early intervention and affordable housing approaches. Additionally, the homeless assistance agencies from non-governmental sector are also required to change their services. This article explores the actual conditions of homeless assistance in Australia with attention to the definition of homelessness.
