Abstract

In Japan’s universities, the shortage of human resources of IR is a problem. In order to improve such situation, it is necessary to arrange appropriate IR personnel. As a prerequisite for studying IR human resources development, this paper investigated the status of the members of IR organization in national universities. As a result of the investigation, it is found that there are many cases in which members of IR organization are not paying attention to personal ability. In addition, it is necessary to improve the shortage by enhancing training for IR personnel, so, efforts through university cooperation and academic societies are necessary. And, it is necessary to adapt the content of the training to the position and experience.
