抄録
In this paper, a ship handling simulator was proposed by developing a control system which reproduced a large vessel's maneuverability on an actual training ship. In the control system, the large vessel's maneuverability was predicted by mathematical model and predicted ship's heading angle and speed were traced by feedback control algorithm. The effectiveness of the developed control system was indicated with results of actual sea test. Moreover, the effectiveness of the developed ship handling simulator was indicated by comparison experiment with a visual ship handling simulator.
