Description

2004年にGoogle SketchupとGoogle earthとの連携が可能になった。Google Sketchupの活用はGoogle earthだけではなく、さらに建築設計、景観設計、映画、ゲーム開発に広く使用されている。Google SketchUpで作成した3DモデルをGoogle Earth上で表示することもできるようになった。既に世界の主要都市については3Dビルディングが再現されている。今回Google Earth とSketchUpの関連を利用して、他のCGソフトやCADなどのデータもGoogle Earth上にインポートする手法で検討する。またGoogle EarthはGIS専用のソフトではないため、座標系に誤差が生じている。そこでGoogle Earthの座標系の誤差を調べ、正確な地図と3Dモデルの合成について考える。
