Description

We have engaged in the community development in Suma word, Kobe city, after the Great Hanshin-Awaji earthquake. In this article, first, we report the process of community development for the reconstruction from the disaster by the earthquake, second, analyze it in the reconstruction process of Kobe area. Through the observation and analysis of our case, it could be cleared that residents in the desastered community show strong will for the rebuild the community, and that appropriate and systematic support from city government shoud be offered.
