Abstract
<p>As a newly type of CVT, we propose a linkage type CVT for transmission used in power generation system with high efficiency. The proposed CVT is composed of closed loop chains and non-invertible components. As for wind power generation using natural energy, when the wind is strong, the rotational speed in the input axis is increased, the rotational speed exceeds the rotational speed at the output axis through non-invertible component, then the CVT does not transmit any powers. Contrariwise, when the wind is weak, the CVT can transmit the power by non-friction transmission with high efficiently.</p>
