Description

The purpose of this study is to clarify the optimal posture in operation of the weight lifting task. On the simulation using the 7-rigid-body link model considering the Valsalva effect from the capacity of lung, each joint angle was changed by the minimum jerk model. The simulation result and the actual measurement were compared and examined using four evaluation criteria: the compression force and shear force on lumbar vertebra, the efficiency index, and the rate of work load on each joint. It has been clarified that not only the load on hip joint but also the load on knee should be considered to evaluate for better lifting motion.
