Description

喘息―COPDオーバーラップ症候群（ACOS）の頻度は，慢性閉塞性肺疾患（COPD）患者の20～50％程度にみられる．ACOSの喘息がコントロール不良で喘息発作を繰り返す場合，呼吸機能の悪化が早く，予後不良となる．禁煙，気管支拡張剤を中心とする薬物治療に加えて，吸入ステロイド薬（inhaled corticosteroid：ICS）を基本薬として長時間作用性気管支拡張薬の併用が有用である．本稿では，ACOSの病態や治療方法につき述べる．
