The diffusion of Li+ ions from a polymeric Solid electrolyte (PSE) into multilaycrs of aluminum Stearate dimer (SA-Al (di)) was investigated at a D. C. voltage of 10mV. The multilayer was deposited on the PSE in vacuum at 2.0 ×10-5 Torr. The PSE consists of LiClO4, Poly (ethylene oxide) (PEO) and poly (vinyl acetate) (PVAc). DiffuSion of dissociated Li+ in PSE substrate into the multilayers was observed. The diffusion was larger when the voltage was Supphed at 4°C than at-10°C or 40°C. The Li+seemes to bind again with ClO-4 or to coordinate to the oxygen atoms of the SA-AR (di) in the multilayers. The above results can be applied for the fabrication of high quality organicinorganic layered superlattices by means of doping inorganic materials into the organic multilayers.
