Description
By means of tuning the tine width of trident type tuning fork, we made the asymmetric trident type vibration gyro in which only two tines vibrate in the same plane while all tines vibrate in perpendicular to that plane. These vibration modes have holding characteristics as good as resonator for wristwatches. Our gyro sensor has stable behavior to temperature. And in the drive mode the detect tine which does not vibrate has less leak output. We got the shape of trident type tuning fork from FEM analysis.
