説明
If the light is inserted into the surface of the tissue, the distribution of the intensity of the light will form the shape of a hemisphere because of the strong scattering of light. So the intensity of the light obtained at a certain depth from the point of insertion is considered equal to that of the light obtained from the same distance on the surface. If we apply Lambert-Beer's law to the increase of absorption in blood flow when pressure is canceled, we can determine the oxygen saturation level of the blood (StO_2) and hemoglobin volume (Hb vol) in the tissue non-invasively and continuously. We made a device based on this theory and then conducted experiments on cold-induced vasooscillation and on low pressure. We found that there is a high correlation between Hb volume and skin temperature under cold : StO_2 and StO_2 under low pressure : StO_2 and SvO_2 under low pressure. Fore the reasons mentioned above, we can conclude that our device is very useful for premedical and clinical medicine.
