Description
The purpose of this study is to examine two types of WISC-IV models. The first one is a traditional interpretation model based on four indexes of factor analysis research (WISC model). The second one is a recent model based on CHC theory (CHC model). In addition, this study also proposes an GAI model which extends the four factors of WISC model. And these interpretational models of WISC-IV are used to examine two case studies. The findings reveal that GAI and CHC models are effective tools for assessing cognitive characteristics and supporting children in resource room. It is important to select an optimal interpretation model depending on the cases.
