Description

The quality of concrete is significantly influenced by the temperature environment before and after casting, requiring temperature-based countermeasures. The guidelines indicate the countermeasure-needed periods for cold and hot weather concreting but are limited to selected reference locations, not always matching individual construction sites. This paper introduces detailed maps created using data from the Mesh Climatological Normals 2020 to depict the countermeasure-needed period of each concreting. The system, which integrated these maps with an internet-based mapping, application was developed to enable rational decisions of the countermeasures-needed periods at individual construction sites from the construction planning stage.
