More opportunities have been realized for librarians to participate in information literacy education in academic communities. Because librarianship has fallen in crisis of nullification, librarians must have a point of view of Public Relations and marketing in order to recover and enhance the social recognition of the value of their profession. This paper reviews the stereotyped public image of librarians in recent television dramas, points out the conceptual frameworks of image strategy for appealing reborn librarianship to the public, and presents a menu of practical methods which are doable even in their daily works.
