This report is a case study of female high-school student. I focus on change of the relationship between the client and her paintings.<br> She brought her paintings to the consulting room of the therapy, and showed it to the therapist. As we had common images in her paintings, the relationship between the client and her paintings began to change. That is, she kept those secret from the therapist, moreover threw out those, and began to take a new painting style. To understand a series of her actions, I make use of Kristeva′s concept Abjection. In this case, at first picture was the image of positive Mother for her, and she became one with picture. But gradually, the relationship deepened, as she became feeling the image of negative Mother on picture. Ultimately she disclaimed amalgamation with Mother (picture), and created a new proper relationship. That built up an objective standpoint in her.
