Description
This paper reports an experimentals tudy of the frictiont orque characteristics of variable displacement type axial piston motors. This study revealed the effects of displacement ratio( = displacement/maximum displacement) on the friction torque characteristics. Based on the mathematical model of the friction torque characteristicsf or fixed displacemen type hydraulic motors which has been offered by two of the authors. a mathematical modelf or variable displacement type hydraulic motors is proposed in this paper. A relatively good agreement was obtained between model and experiment.
