薄膜の屈折率や膜厚を光学的に求める方法は,これまで多数提案されてきた.本解説ではこの中から非破壊,非接触の測定法として,顕微分光測光装置を用いて試料の分光反射率や透過率から屈折率や膜厚を求める方法と,エりプソメトリーこよる方法について,それぞれの原理や装置の説明と実際の測定に際しての留意点を述べる.
