Description
In concrete block, revegetation is enabled by cover soil and a device of the shape that is easy to capture the sediment, practical use of porous concrete. But at the site of riparian department, there are many examples that revegetation becomes extremely slow because the cove soil is washed away easily. In this case, we tried elucidation about revegetation effect of riparian department and the mechanism by concrete block covered with coir. At the result, a capture effect by coir fiber in itself of a sediment and seed by water flow, and capture of a sediment is promoted by the vegetation which was concluded thereby, and a growth base of a plant was filled up still more.
