Description
Handrail to be installed inside a residence is very important goods in a house for walking safety. It is important to decide the specification for easy in use. In this research, we decided to the specification "handrail diameter, handrail installation height" in corridor and staircase from the viewpoint of psychological assessment for the elderly. We investigated verification of effects with or without handrails for the elderly and obtained the fundamental specifications of handrail for elderly people's safe and comfortable living.
