Description
In this paper, we propose a new type CMG named "adaptive skewing pyramid type CMG". In the new CMG, skewing angle is changed to enlarge the momentum envelope towards the direction around which fast attitude maneuver is required. In this paper, quaternion feedback control method is used to give the torque command, and generalized singularity robust steering law is employed to determine the gimbal velocities. We investinage the effect of skew angle change on the settling time of maneuver.
