Abstract
We are researching a miniature robot using piezoelectric elements (PZTs). The miniature robot utilizes the expansion and contraction of the PZTs. We realized the linear and rotational displacement of the robot. The position of the miniature robot was measured by position sensitive detectors. The miniature robot could not rotate in the CCW direction when we applied a rectangle waveform, and the displacement was different in every measurement. In this paper, we describe the rotation of the miniature robot, which is driven by six types of control waveforms.
