Abstract
On the experimental landscape planting field on the overhead line, located in Yamatotakada city in Nara prefecture, the actual conditions of plants were investigated. The results are summarized as follows:<BR>1) An artificial light-weight soil generally encouraged the growth of the plants with the exception of some species.<BR>2) The rain water storing system under the layer of fill-up soil reduced the death rate of the plants.<BR>3) The ventilation pipe for a water storing system was not expected to make obvious effect.
