Description
Reading is synonymous with the reader's creation of the world out of the work of literature. The created world in turn reflects the mind of the reader-creator, that is to say, his critical spirit. In other words, recreation of an imaginary world through reading is an act of criticism. It is important and effective that reader sets his own unique viewpoint for interpretation, instead of accepting the preconceived one designated by the author of the text. I have attempted to prove it by considering the interpretative possibilities offered by such reading materials as The Hail in Early Spring and An Errand for a Pair of Gloves.
