Description
<p>In this paper, a new component that is expandable and contractible is proposed to realize a portable robot which can move in a wide workspace. We developed a prototype of potable robot using the expansion and contraction component. The robot structure is wireframe based on Flexi-Sphere, one of geometric toys. Finally, we confirmed that the wireframe robot was transformable and could be wire-driven.</p>
