Abstract
The nursing of the bathing for the patients lying in the bed is one of the most serious work. It is difficult for a caregiver to move the patient between the bed and the bathroom. In this paper, we develop a wheelchair equipped with a simple bed and a portable bath device. By this wheelchair, a caregiver can help easily bathe the patient. To help the excretion for person with incontinence is also a serious work. To accomplish this problem, the small size of the portable toilet with a simple cleaning mechanism is set up under the seat of the wheelchair.
