Description
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the adhesion rate of titanium dioxide solution applied to the acrylic resin plates by four kinds of cleaning methods (cleansing with flowing water, denture cleaner, ultrasonic cleaner and denture brush). There was little adhesion of the titanium dioxide solution applied to acrylic resin plates by cleansing with a denture brush. On the other hand, there was no difference in adhesion rate the titanium dioxide solution applied to acrylic resin plates by cleansing with flowing water, denture cleaner, ultrasonic cleaner, as compared with before cleansing. As there was no significant difference among these three cleansing methods, it was concluded that these three cleansing methods could be recommended for cleansing the acrylic resin plate coated with a titanium dioxide solution.
