Abstract

Two-dimensional nanomaterials, such as graphene and two-dimensional transition metal chalcogenides, attract wide interests due to their unique properties. Understanding the interface between the two-dimensional nanomaterials and biomolecules is crucial towards their biological applications, i.e. biosensors. In this work, we report recent progresses in the engineering of the interface using self-assembled peptides, which have an ability to form uniform organized structures on the nanomaterials in a self-assembling manner.
