The purpose of this study is to examine how women raising young children talk about child-rearing anxiety, child care support and their life courses. The study is based on results from longitudinal surveys done on mothers of children on process of entering elementary school from kindergarten. Findings from this study include:(1)When time passed, many child-rearing anxieties were solved. They came to worry about how to make contact with their children and discipline.(2)Child care support from parents, mothers and husbands has changed.(3)Although there are mothers who start part-time work and make preparations for their futures, there are others who struggle to find their life courses.
