Abstract
<p>The shape memory alloy (SMA) actuator using resistance feedback control method is used in the industrial field; for example the lens focusing system for a smartphone camera. This actuator system can control and retain positioning at any positions without using spencer devices. However, since the repetitively recovery strain of Ti-Ni based SMA is about 3%, the SMA actuator mechanism in the direction of the length is enlarged when the actuator operates flexing action by joint structure. Therefore, for the purpose of miniaturization of the bending operation actuator with SMA wire, we devise and fabricate the bending operation SMA actuator using the principle of bimetal. In this study, the dynamic characteristic of this bending operation actuator with SMA wire is investigated.</p>
