Abstract
<p> A 303 GHz rectenna was developed and a wireless power transmission (WPT) using a gyrotron was conducted. A microstrip antenna was used for rectenna. Antenna gain of 8.32 dBi was obtained using a finline which is a waveguide-microstrip line transducer. The beam profile was measured using an IR camera, and the RF-DC conversion efficiency was evaluated by estimating the input power to the rectenna. The maximum DC output power and the rectenna power density (DC power per unit area) were 17.1 mW, 3.43 kW / m 2. The maximum RF-DC conversion efficiency was 2.17% with 342 mW input power and 130 Ω load resistance.</p>
