Abstract

<p> The purpose of this study is to identify differences ofeducational programs, relationships between the ability of nursing performanceand nursing education, and influencing factors on the ability of nursingperformance of baccalaureate nurses by comparing with associate degree anddiploma nurses. The ability of nursing performance was measured by using theJapanese 6-D Scale which was confirmed by the internal consistency reliabilityand the construct validity. One hundred and ten nurses were the sample for analysis.Data were analyzed by using one-way ANOVA coefficient and Stepwise's multipleregression analysis. The results were as follows : 1) the ability of nursingperformance of baccalaureate nurses was lower than that of associate degree anddiploma nurses ; 2) no significant relationships were observed between theability of nursing performance and the learning of specialized nursing subjectsfor associate degree and diploma nurses. However. a significant correlation wasindicated between the plan/ evaluation and the community health care forbaccalaureate nurses ; 3) the learning of specialized nursing subjects and jobsatisfaction were identified as the influence factors on the ability of nursingperformance of baccalaureate nurses.</p>
