Abstract

<p>　　Manuscripts reported in the last decade on management of hemodynamic instability with pelvic injuries were reviewed. Although favorable results were reported for Transcatheter Arterial Embolization, many authors stated that delayed embolization was associated with increased mortality. Preperitoneal Pelvic Packing is implemented in institutions where interventional radiologists are not available on site. As Resuscitative Endovascular Balloon Occlusion reduces the arterial flow transiently, immediate transition to the definitive hemostatic method is mandatory.</p>
