Description
The demand for people to stay at home due to the spread of the novel coronavirus 2019 has significantly changed our consumption behaviors. Although the number of consumers who purchase a variety of products at each purchasing occasion has increased, there has been little empirical research using actual data regarding changes in consumption behavior. In this study, we report on the results of an analysis of how consumer purchasing behavior has changed from before and during the coronavirus pandemic, focusing on daily necessities ― and detergents in particular. In particular, we will focus on the tendency to purchase products at the same time, and report the results of our analysis from the perspective of what kind of product combinations have become more commonly purchased due to stay-at-home consumption.
