Abstract

Two juveniles, 101mm and 107mm in total length, of snake eel Pisodonophis cancrivorus were collected from intertidal sandy-mud flat at depths about 15 to 20cm in Uranouchi Inlet, central Kochi Prefecture, southern Japan. A brief description and photographs of these specimens are given.
