<p>In Japan, an upper limit for overtime work is set by law and the reduction of overtime work has become an issue. A survey on nurses overtime work has found that many nurses work pre-shift overtime to gather patient information before the commencement of their shifts. We aimed to clarify what kind of information-seeking behavior nurses are taking from electronic health record.First, we conducted a questionnaire survey on patient information collected before work.Then, we recorded the electronic health record screen on which nurses gazes were presented using an eye tracker and analyzed the recorded images.</p>
