The purpose of this study is to develop a scale for measuring meaningful life experiences of junior high school students and examine validity of this scale. We developed a meaningful life experiences scale formed of 32 items on the basis of descriptions by junior high school students. Factor analysis revealed that this scale has 8 factors. Factorial and external evidence of convergent and discriminant validity for the scale are also presented.
