Abstract
In this paper, we report a method to interactively perform hair simulation by interaction between water and hair. The proposed method approximates the hair as a set of mass points and line segments and simulates the motion of the mass point by using the spring damper model, thereby reproducing the shape change of the hair. In addition, a simulation method based on the lattice method is used to reproduce fluid motion and hair wetting effect that affect hair movement. Through these methods, the proposed method can reproduce changes in hair shape and shadow due to water adhesion to hair in real time.
