Description

To consider the deterioration mechanism of the impermeable sheet, how much in the depth direction from the surface It is important to analyze whether the deterioration is progressing, but research on the depth direction of the impermeable sheet is not yet sufficient. In this paper, the purpose of this paper is to evaluate the effect of cracks from the surface of the impermeable sheet, which has little knowledge, on the mechanical properties, and the deterioration by depth was evaluated by performing surface roughness analysis and tensile test. As a result, in addition to the exposure for 25 years or more in the field, the crack depth is only about 50 μm even in the sheet that has been subjected to accelerated exposure equivalent to 70 years and deteriorated by ultraviolet rays, and the design of tensile strength and elongation at break. It was above the standard value. However, when a crack was artificially generated by about 300 μm, it was below the design standard values of tensile strength and elongation at break.
