Abstract
In this paper, we report on the development and implementation of a cross-curricular lesson titled "Learning about Broth" aimed at fostering multidisciplinary collaboration among the subjects of "Home Economics," "Social Studies," and "Science" from the perspectives of STEAM education and cross-curricular learning. We attempt to validate and assess the challenges associated with this endeavor. The outcomes of this paper involve presenting the case of multidisciplinary collaboration, examining the relationships between Home Economics, Social Studies, and Science from the viewpoints of "practical-experiential approach" and "cognitive approach," and demonstrating its potential for education beyond the confines of the school environment. However, it was noted as a challenge that there is insufficient exploration into enhancing collaboration among participants and organizations involved in this initiative.
