Abstract

<p>喘息の主病態は，Th2（T helper cell type 2）リンパ球及び2型自然リンパ球（group 2 innate lymphoid cells：ILC2）が引き起こす2型免疫であり，IL（interleukin）-4，IL-5ならびにIL-13といった2型サイトカインが関与している．これらサイトカインは，重症喘息に対する生物学的製剤の治療標的としても重要である．非2型免疫の病態も存在し，その代表としては，Th17リンパ球が引き起こす好中球性炎症がある．患者における気道炎症を把握することは，治療薬の選択に結び付く点において重要である．</p>
