本研究は、高等学校公民科「政治・経済」を取り上げその内容編成を分析・検討することを通して、我が国の公民的教科目の内容編成原理を抽出し、その問題点を解明しようとするものである。分析の結果、わが国の公民的教科目においては、現在の国家体制を支持する日本国民としての態度形成が目指されており、それは、開かれた社会認識形成に基づく市民育成を目指したものではないということが明らかになった。戦前の公民科等と比べると強力ではないが、やはり緩やかに国民としての態度形成が目指されていると言える。

In this paper, I describes the Logic of Building Students'Attitude in Civics in Japan by analyzing contents of Politics and Economics. I found that students would acquire a natural character through learning this subject. We must improve contents of Civics to develop students'citizenship and build a democratic society.
