This is a review article on Masami Kodama, The European Parliament and European Integration (Seibundo, 2004). It presents brief commentary on network governance approach to the European Union, as well as utility of comparative analysis of European Union and European Parliament. It also touches on the argument that “Oushu Rengo" is not suitable Japanese terms for the European Union but recognises difficulty in using “Oushu Doumei" instead.
