Description

As knowledge on cooperative housing in foreign countries is very limited in Japan, this study on cooperative housing in the city of Zurich is fundamental. Cooperative housing is not well-defined academically making it difficult to discuss issues internationally. This paper focuses on the city of Zurich, a pioneer of cooperative housing in Europe, as a case study for mainstreaming Japan’s emerging non-profit housing.
