Description

Wetlands, which are unique water environments, have various functions for water circulation and ecosystems, such as mitigating disasters such as floods and providing habitats for wetland creatures. On the other hand, there are many areas where part of the wetlands overlaps with the human residential area, and it has undergone various changes depending on the wetlands, such as being the target of development and disappearing, or being protected as a conservation area for rare creatures or a target area for tourism promotion. In this presentation, we will apply the interdisciplinary framework, which captures changes in the water environment from the perspective of fluctuations in the geosphere, the humanosphere, and the biosphere, to the discussion on solar power generation in the Kushiro Wetlands, and will demonstrate the effectiveness of the framework.
